On September 6th, 2021, a meeting took place in Kastoria with members of the scientific team of the project (Professor A. Patakas and Professor A. Kontogiorgos), the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia, Mr. G. Kasapidis, and the Vice Regional Governor of Western Macedonia, Mr. Th. Manos. The initial results of the project regarding the beans produced in Kastoria and Prespes were presented. It was also discussed how these results could contribute to addressing the issue of ‘Hellenizations’ and protecting the income of producers in Western Macedonia.
